Practicing

Trevor recently graduated from the University of Notre Dame, and started at right guard for the 2019 football season. He was a three-time all-conference selection, three-time all-area selection, two-time all-state selection, and the 2014 Chicago Sun-Times Illinois Player of the Year.

Trevor Ruhland is a former high school and college football player from Cary, IL with over 16 years involved in the sport. While he “retired” in 2019, he is still very passionate about coaching and helping train the next generation of athletes.

In high school, Trevor was a three-sport athlete (football, basketball, track), but was most successful in football. He was a three-time all-conference selection, three-time all-area selection, two-time all-state selection, and the 2014 Chicago Sun-Times Illinois Player of the Year. Trevor earned a full scholarship to the University of Notre Dame where he enrolled in the summer of 2015.

In college, Trevor battled through many injuries and surgeries but found much success at the end of his career. He was a two-year starter and a member of the 2017 Joe Moore Award-winning offensive line, which goes to the best offensive line in the country. Trevor also won the 2019 Humble and Hungry Award, awarded to the player who showed the most selflessness.
